2019 MGA Tournament Schedule
Tuesday Ladies Night 6:00 pm
Every Tuesday night is Ladies Night at Collins Hill Golf Club. Come join other ladies and play in a variety of formats each week. Sign up in the golf shop or online. Green fee is $13 and includes a cart.
Collins Hill Scramble Monday – Wednesday – Friday 9:03 Tee Time
If you are looking for a fun group to play a relaxed round of golf the Collins Hill Scramble may be for you. Select Shot format with players over 75 playing the forward tees. $10 cash pot goes to buy drinks after golf and the remaining amount to the winners as well as closest to the hole winners. Call the golf shop and sign up by 8:30 am.
Thursday Night Scramble Check with Golf Shop for times as it varies with the season.
The Thursday Night Scramble is a mix of all levels of players. This fun evening is only nine holes and is a great way to get a quick nine in after work and warm up your game for the weekend. Cash pot of $10 per player gets paid to the winners. Call the golf shop to sign up by 5:30 pm if you want to have a great time on the course meeting new people.
Men’s Golf Association Dogfight Saturday 8:00 am
Looking for a game on Saturday mornings? Come join us for the MGA Dogfight. We play team low-ball and team points along with a skins game and closest to the hole contests. There is a $20 per player cash pot and members of the Men’s Golf Association get a special discount on during MGA events. We conduct different fun and competitive events each month such as our Spring Cha-Cha-Cha, Men’s Club Championship, Member-Member and The Cornerstone Cup Matches. Membership is $55 and includes a USGA / GHIN Handicap for the year, discount green fees for MGA events, special golf trips and more.
Junior Play Days Mondays Check with Golf Shop for time as it varies with the season.
Junior Play Days are meant to give our junior golfers and those looking to get started in the game and opportunity to get experience playing golf. Each day will include a short clinic on a specific topic designed to help the juniors to become better players. The Play Day will works as follows:
Play Day Clinic – 30 minute clinic on varying topics designed to make you a better player. Open to all levels of players.
Following the clinic, players that have passed a skills test will be eligible to play in a format appropriate to the players present. Players not eligible to play will be given the opportunity to stay and practice. The cost is $20 which includes the clinic and cost of a large bucket of range balls for practice or to play after the clinic. Players are encouraged to participate as often as possible to improve skills in all areas of the game.
